 About The Computer Department
Mr. T.C. Yee, Managing Director, B.E. (Syd.Uni), is a Member of:
  • the Australian Institute of Management (AIMM) and
  • the Australian Organisation for Quality (AOQ). 
In his role as IT Consultant, T.C. Yee has been:  
  • engaged as an IT consultant under the NIES (Federal Government Scheme) program - providing a complete business diagnostic service as well as introducing a quality assurance system for small to medium size  businesses.
  • appointed Head of IT (Chief Information Officer) for a two year period by Huntleys’ Business Network Limited (HBN) - developing the use of Information Technology (IT) in support of the company’s mission.
The Computer Department (TCD) was established by T.C. Yee in 1989, to specialize in Information Technology (IT) solutions for small to medium size businesses. The team at TCD has been engaged by:
  • Huntleys’ Business Network Limited (HBN) to manage and service HBN users – providing IT Help Desk support plus data processing, database management, program development and e-commerce website support and development.  (HBN e-commerce website currently services the Australian financial market.)
  • over one hundred (100) exclusive contract clients, being members of our Business Support Centre (BSC) providing full time IT Help Desk support plus quality assurance, IT management, cost and budget planning, IT infrastructure investment, hardware/software projects and solutions.
  • financial and insurance industry clients, using Heart Consulting Services’ WinBeat software, to support their Financial Service Reform (FSR) procedures.
T.C. Yee and The Computer Department deliver reliable operations, gather and integrate IT resources and services to meet business needs, manage multiple resources to get value for money plus provide:
  • effective IT strategies to achieve cost effectiveness
  • leadership and advocacy for the development and use of IT to align with business strategy
